Lampblack/KNO3

Without going into my reasons for asking, would BP made by subsituting
lampblack for charcoal actually burn at all? Not explode, just burn.
Most lampblack star formulas I have found seem to use charcoal
primarily, with only a small amount of lampblack.
Oh heck, the reasons. I'm trying to make a fire dust which creates
very very tiny dim sparks -- smaller even than can be generated with
airfloat pine. I just got some lampblack from Skylighter, but since it
is so messy to work with I thought I would seek input.
Will lampblack and KNO3 form a combustible mixture? Or should I start
with standard BP and just add lampblack until I get the effect I want?
TIA --
Bob
