Harry,
Warren is looking for your current, un-obscufied e-mail address,
regarding your press.

Hi Harry,
I'm out of the printing industry now, there were no jobs available for
prepress technicians. You might ask Mike though since he's still in
that industry?
How about donating the letter press to the Colonial Williamsburg people?
Or is it not old enough for them?
You could try advertising it on the Glabalmediapro print industry forum
at: http://www.gmpx.com/
Other than that maybe the people in Pennsylvania at GATF might want it
for a display, or to train the students how it was done in the old days?
There's always Ebay, somebody would buy it.
Here's another site I came across that apparently had one which sold
already:

Good luck,
Leo
Thanks Leo, John and others for all the helpful suggestions.
And Thanks for posting link to a C&P press (evidently an 8x12 Old Style
-- Note the curved spokes on the flywheel) that is nearly identical and
in the same condition as mine. The difference is that the flat drive
belt pully was missing when I purchased the machine back about 1966 in
Rochester, NY. I simply run it with a long v-belt passion around the
large flywheel, and when properly adjusted works just fine.
I already contacted a number of schools and museums ain the norhteast,
but they either already have a specimen of this model, or are concerned
about liability, OSHA and other factors. My major concern is not
wanting to ship it or move it myself, although I've moved in myself
quite a few times when I was a bit younger, and I would like to recover
the floor space. So long as it fines a good home with someone whose
reativity and falent puts it to good use, I'd be happy. Just as
informaion, it has served in some interesting fireworks
applications...Typesetting and printing programs for displays (before
the days of desktop publising, shell labels, and I even once considered
getting die cutting toolinf made for it to produce end disks for shells
-- but that one never came to be.
I was a bit amazed at the price that the Furiture cabinet and
assortment sold for (identical to mine), and prices on the numbering
machines.
Thanks again to veryone for their valued suggestions.
Harry C.
