Benzoates are a pain to grind so you're usually better off buying the air-milled if possible. Not cheap but still less than what they get for sodium salicylate these days. I'm glad I still have a good supply around.

That's a great price, especially considering the exchange rate. That's around 5 pounds for $21 Canadian? I'm assuming at that price you must have bought some coarse material sold for use as a food preservative?
For example Firefox sells their air-milled sodium benzoate for $10.00 per pound. They sell their sodium salicylate for $14.50 per pound. Those prices are both in US dollars.
