Dave,
I'd offer four suggestions:
1. Try searching this group for the term "books." You'll find lots of
threads that discuss recommended reading.
2. Spend a little time perusing the offerings found here:
http://www.fireworksnews.com/
3. Read, from top to bottom, the articles found in the newsletters
maintained at Skylighter.
http://www.skylighter.com/skylighter_info_pages/articles.asp
4. Consider buying a subscription to Passfire:
http://www.passfire.com/
Finding "free material" that's worth anything can be a problem but, if
you have more time than money, you might want to spend some time
reading posts on this group. Go back a year or two and dive in. Some
posts are worth more than others and there's always some noise but over
a long period of time, contributors on this group post an impressive
amount of information. It takes time and you'll need to learn what is
good advice and what isn't but, over time, you'll soon learn to
separate the wheat from the chaff.
Lastly, don't overlook the search function available for this group as
it can be a very useful tool for locating information on a specific
topic.
I hope these suggestions prove useful. Keep an eye on this thread as
I'm sure other folks will make additional suggestions.
Tom C.
