Apropos Lloyd's comments, you might want to experiment a bit when
deciding upon a suitable loading force to employ when fabricating BP
rockets. I've found that BP motors are quite tolerant of loading
practice with forces employed being all over the map. Some folks use as
little as 1500# with others ranging up to 6000+#.
In general, a whistle or strobe motor generally uses higher numbers
than BP and, to be sure, it's rather difficult to press a motor (of any
kind) too hard. If there be a danger, it's using too little force for a
given type. In any event, you'll need a sleeve to complete your loading
setup.
