Then to Tom, a caution warning is appropriate to The Case Former.
Something along the lines of:

-- Case Former should not be read by adolescents in their formative
stage of life, whose idea of excellent fireworks is a few grams of
flash dumped into a cardboard cylinder and sealed with hot glue.

-- Case former should not be read by anyone aspiring to be politically
correct, armchair pyros who have yet to receive a burn when hand firing
a display, those that are compelled to wear a Kevlar firepoof suit and
a face mask while attempting to shoot a display in 95-degree heat on a
July 4th celebration, or a minority of PGI members.

-- Case Former should be totally avoided by the notorious Dr. K, author
of such infamious books and videos including "Schmuck Waves and Phart
Powder" -- for health reasons alone.

Somehow I survived reading The Case Former, and found it to be a very
enjoyable and (in a few rare places) an informative read. My metor in
fireworks, Salvatore Scardone, would have loved it, and my closest
fireworks associate Guido Sanguidolce almost dropped his treasured
bottle of Torciano Chianti Classico II Vicario from laughing while
reading just one issue of The Case Former!

My hat goes off to the guys that authored Case Former! It had to be a
labor of love.
