Montenegro is (roughly) Crna Gora, which is Serbo-Croation for "Black
Mountain", the same meaning as Montenegro.

But how closely related are the words? Obviously they are related if
you go far enough back (since they are from Indo-European languages
on both sides), but they don't appear closely related to me.
