You're assuming it works.
It doesn't.
At leasr not in IE.
Confirmed using IE7.
Worng again, there are no such instructions
in IE. Actually, they're visible for about half
a second, until replaced by what appears to be
an incomplete map that the cursor moves about
randomly.
Actually, it's replaced by a broken tiling of the map. I forget
what the cursor did, but at that point, nothing it did was likely
to make any sense.
In Opera, the cursor keys move both the cursor and the web page,
but otherwise it works correctly. I suggest offering WASD and/or
clickable arrows as a workaround.
This maze does indeed not work properly at all with IE7 but it works
perfectly well with FireFox under WinXP.
(I made other experiences as well: Stuff that does not work properly
with FireFox/Mozilla/Netscape but perfectly with IE and Opera. Like
colors inside tables.)
