SCWC 47 - Discussion thread

Post comments and criticisms here!

I had originally intended to use 'turntable' for this contest, but it is
very difficult to construct a single good clue. Some Times constructor
once did, and I played one LP after another as I sat on my sofa and tried to
solve it - not my most glorious moment as a solver.

But 'RECORD' has everything - it's a noun, it's a verb, it's an adjective,
all with many meanings. It should be possible to create hundreds of
excellent clues using the full range of cryptic techniques..

I am sticking to the 10 day plan including one weekend for those who are
busy at work or away, and so not able to participate immediately.
