Gash eater
Hmm, I was going to look up gash when I got back in front of my
Chambers-equipped PC, but I forgot about it. Main unconventional use of
gash that I know is the Antarctic G(arbage+tr)ASH. OK, Macquarie has it
as a second helping -- I didn't know that.
How can it not be taken as a fairly crude euphemism for cunnilingus?

By extension of the already-crude usage for the vagina? (Which
Chambers doesn't have, though Macquarie does.)

That _is_ the already crude usage ... what do you know it for?

I think he meant: by extension from 'gash' to 'gash-eater'.

Oh. It's not some sort of idiomatic extension, it's just a
nominalization of a garden-variety verb phrase.
