I've noticed that my posts tend that have that annoying wrap-around,
where the last word of each of the lines I type in gets broken off and
appears, by itself, on the next line. Is there an obvious way to keep
that from happening? I'm using (egad) Google Groups. What do you
guys do to keep that from happening?

Whose Mama told him, "Better Wrap Around"
Google Groups own Help section says:
"Try to keep your lines of text to less than 80 characters for optimal
readability. If people quote part of your article in a followup, short lines
will show up better. Hitting return when you get to the end of the Google
Groups entry form will put a line break after each 80 characters."
(I assume that by "the end of the Google Groups entry form" they mean the
end of each line on that form)
So hitting 'return' five characters *before* you get to the end of the line
should always do the trick.
The form for replying to posts seems to have capacity for 70 characters a
line so I'd guess hitting return after about 65 characters on a reply will
also do the trick.
Practice a bit on one of the test groups and see how it all looks.
