Re: Is this the right place???

I hope so! I haven't found any other ng where I could feel comfortable

Perhaps news:rec.photo.digital would the absolute best place to ask technical type questions.

My question relates to the saving of jpegs. They are best viewed at
100% zoom, but many are posted in the ngs and on the net at widely
differing settings. I would like to find a way to convert all the
excellent photos that I have snagged from various places (entirely and
exclusively for my own enjoyment) to 100% and save at that setting. So
far, I'm flummoxed. I'm using Irfanview 3.95.

Do you mean that you want all of the images to be resized to fit your monitor, or at some other size?
100% zoom doesn't realy mean a whole lot, because what will fill the screen at 1024x768 monitor resolution will only take up a smaller area at higher resolution settings, or conversly at lower reslotuion setting will require you to use the scrollbars to look at the whole image as it will be be bigger than the screen area.
