I made the mistake of buying another Sigma about a year ago, and, true to
form, it failed. It's fixed now, and seems fine, but my 15mm 2.8 EX DG
focusing froze, and it needed a trip to the shop. Seems fine now, though,
and does produce a pretty sharp image. But every Sigma lens I've ever owned
over 15 years has failed at some point.

I'm done with Sigma. The fisheye is my last.
