In many cases this is true but in many other cases no so much. If you
are making large prints MF and LF will make a better looking print. If
you are limited the print size to 8 x 12 then a good DSLR will produce
a better print IMO.
But past that there are many cases that a MF just does not work well.
Shooting with available light indoors and a MF camera will really fall
down. Also shooting with a long lens and the MF losses its advantage.
In the case of jpeg vs. raw there is no shot where the jpeg will come
out better then the raw image.
