Seems like a nice lens though metering possibilities are limited, but
why does it say 'Auto' if that's the case? Seems like an unusual item.
Many older SLR lenses say "Auto." It means automatic
diaphragm; you get full aperture viewing and the camera
stops the lens down when you press the shutter release.
(The opposite is manual or preset aperture.)
Some camera/lens systems offered full aperture viewing
but stop-down metering. The non-AI prong system allowed
full-aperture metering but you had to index the prong to
the meter on mounting the lens (superseded by AI =
automatic indexing).
It isn't possible to tell from that picture if the lens is non-AI
or has subsequently been "AI'd". There are FAQs which
explain what the difference is. It's not a terribly unusual
camera nor lens, unless you've never seen one before.
