Uh oh... Bret doesn't have the IS version...so you'll have to come up with
some other reasons.

Personally, I don't think there is any question as to the worth of IS.
Remember, these were shot on a VERY sunny day, and the shutter speed would
have been so high that IS likely wasn't all that necessary. I note that
most of these were shot anywhere from 1/640th to well over 1/1000th. For
TONS of other settings, though, IS saves the day! I'm sure glad mine is the
IS version, and I seem to recall Bret wishing his was...
