On the other hand...
When I bought my EOS 3 film body (right when they first came out) it cost me
$1400US.
That's more than the 20D costs now, and that's without even considering
inflation over the last 9 years.
I think they've become fairly reasonable at the mid-level DSLR market point.
What I WISH would come down are the professional series bodies, like the
Canon 1 series, and the Nikon D1, etc. They still seem way high, though
their cutting edge tech explains this. Still, I remember 2MP (and lower)
DSLRs built around Canon 1N selling for $26,000 at that time. :) Yipe!!
