THE LAND WHERE TIME STANDS STILL !!!

I was scanning some 50-year old slides for a friend of mine this week
and I decided to go out and re-take one of them.
So here are two photos of the same area, taken over 50 years apart.

Ironically, my friend was about my age when he took the top pic.
He turns 95 in two weeks. I look forward to taking the same pic in
another 50 years. Maybe I'll have that scanning back by then.
