I thought your picture pretty. I liked the colors.
It was captivating because I couldn't figure out the geometry. I still
can't make the two halves of the red object fit together into a
sensible shape. That was the best part of the picture for me. I didn't
mean to imply that my inability to decipher it was any kind of fault
in the picture.
But somehow, for me, pretty and captivating are not what I mean by
emotions. My weirdness, I guess. Or, as Humpty Dumpty said, "Words
mean what I wish them to mean - neither more, nor less."
Your description and the photo of your setup are fascinating. I find
it wonderful that others can have a perception of the world and of
photography that are so different from mine. Makes me feel kind of
limited, like I (necessarily) perceive through blinders.
Anyway, cool photograph.
