Add to the record that it it's the point, not the argument, that is
moot. The argument is when the point is debatable.
"Moot" is a dangerous word to use, though. To some it means
"debatable", and to some it means "not worth debating". Opposite
meanings. Alfred is using the "not worth debating" meaning.
Me, I am mute on moot, for the record, that is, especially when it comes to courts.
