until they don't, and then you never actually know why the just don't. Mac shops have the "Genius Bar" for a reason, you have to be one to figure out why the damn thing just stopped working :-)
Having said that, if someone was to give me a G5, I wouldn't complain :-)

No genius needed, no IT department or manhours wasted with .dll garbage, not to mention wrestling with virsuses or virus protection.

I've had about ten Macs over twenty plus years and seldom had to call on outside resources.
