--------------------------------------------------------------------
I use Outlook Express and just set up a message rule to get rid of all of
the Google spam: Tools -> Message Rules -> News. This is the rule I set
up:
-----
Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the From line contains 'gmail.com' or 'googlemail.com'
Delete it
-----
I've set up a slew of other rules to get rid of SPAM that comes from other
providers as well, but deleting everything from Google made the biggest
impact. I put it off for a while because there are some that post
legitimately from Google, but I just couldn't take it anymore.
Hope this helps.

Sorry Tom, but that won't do a thing - since the "from" line never includes
any of the words you are trying to filter. Take a look at the "from" lines,
they are never more than the name (usually alias) of the person posting.
You have to get into the "properties/details" to se the real source
information and do any serious filtering. You can use the "tools etc" to
filter our specific words in the subject line, but that's about it.
Still looking for some assistance.
