The old model number was B20344-100 and the new one is B20344-200,
could this be something?

Did you recently acquire Vista between he times you used the first and
second Finepixes?
Drivers that work with Win Xp, 2000, ME, etc., may not work with Vista.
Your best bet may be to just use a USB card reader to download your
images. That is quicker, easier and more reliable than connecting your
Finepix to the computer.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I had vista already - Nothing has changed, no
new software or anything. It was working great for me as a camera icon
appeared in the my computer and you accessed it like any other disk/
key fob. If I cant get it working I'll go down the card route, but I
just wanted to save one more thing attached to the PC! Very annoying
as it was great before. Oh well.
