Munich was beautiful in '39 and '40 also.
I suppose it goes to show, a lot of us take our NON war torn Countries for
granted, I look around everyday and think how lucky am I to live in a
Country that is clean, has no war, no real poverty (yes we have poor but
not to the extent of 3rd World Countries) and the freedoms to take photos
wherever I like (well nearly everwhere)
My point was that I actually thought Iran was a desolate place and seeing
snow actually really surprised me.
Maybe we should start a thread where people show there Countries how they
see them so that some of us who have not really travelled much can see what
they are really like.
We should try and surprise the viewers with things that they would not
expect. For example most of you have seen images of the Sydney Harbour
Bridge in Australia or Ullaru (Ayers Rock), but have you all seen images of
the 12 Apostles in Victoria, or maybe St Kilda foreshore etc etc.
Anyway, just an idea,
