You're right, it didn't verify for me either and I somehow missed
that. I fixed it (I think) by copying the same paragraph from the
newsreader's message to editpad, re-signing it, and pasting the
result back into editpad. This time the returned text block didn't
have the line breaks seen the first time around where I copied from
and pasted back into the newsreader's editor. Verifying produced :

The block that verified is pasted below, but it remains to be seen
if it will also verify after posting it and downloading it again.
At least this time it doesn't show the line breaks.

I could if I knew how to do it properly, but I don't really yet
know the proper way to use PGP. I'll try it with this message but
there are no guarantees. If it turns out that I messed up, I'm
relying on someone here to point me in the right direction . . .
First step, copying only this paragraph to the clipboard, then using
the PGPTools "Sign" button. Using "Encrypt Sign" doesn't appear to
do what I want. Here goes . . .
