Not at all. You need to take that much care to prevent the cards
from being damaged while dining. Exposure to nuoc mam or habañera
hot sauce can be fatal to the cards unless they are mil-spec. parts.
But your precautions don't need to go that far. Glass Mayonnaise
jars work just as well.
