right. hundreds of viruses spreading rampantly, infecting millions of
macs worldwide, except for a few small details you overlooked:
- not a single user has noticed anything nefarious.
- not a single mac software developer has noticed any strange processes.
- not a single news report of something in the wild.
- security experts whose job it is to find them have not found anything.
- anti-virus vendors who would sell more product don't even claim this.
- the design of os x makes it very difficult to write effective malware
and in six years since it was released (not to mention the 30+ years of
unix itself), nothing has happened, suggesting that 'hundreds in the
wild' is nothing more than uninformed hyperbole.
