Just bought an Olympus E-400 DSLR and shot my first batch of pictures in
Olympus RAW File ORF. Puzzled that Photoshop (and PE5) will not open
them, even though Irfanview, for example, does.
Searching the web, this site implies that Photoshop should.

Go to the Adobe site and downlaod the ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) plug-in,
which specifies the appropriate ORF file for your Camera. There will be
instructions about which Folder to save it into.
It can take some time for Adobe to produce ACRs for new Cameras.

In which case you will need to use an independant converter, to convert and
save, before beginning any editing in PS.
