I have a 256 meg card in my 4mp camera (407 pictures), and a 1 GB card in my wife's 7.1mp camera, about 900 pictures. I can't see needing a larger card for either as we only took about 470 pictures on our cruise to Alaska. Since we take both cameras now, we have room for about 1400 pictures, minimum.
It takes a 4GB card in my 30D to go over 999 pics.
I certainly plan to shoot more than 470 pics on our Alaska cruise in
June! :-)

You must have more muskels <heh heh heh heh heh> than Ron, who'll
never be able to lift a 30D, even if it only has a light 50mm lens
attached. If only he had eaten his spinach when he was a young
whippersnapper. :)

UCK, spinach! I don't even eat that NOW.

It is true, though, I wouldn't carry anything that large and heavy.
