EOS 350D AUTOFOKUS PROBLEM

hi

I have eos 350d about one year now. I bought new canon lens about
three mounts ago.
Two days ago camera start reporting error 01 wich means that there are
bad contacts between body and lens.
but yestrday it start crashing, that I mmust restart camera. symptoms
are Av is 00 and nothing other works.
Have anybody any idea about that problem?
