This so-called bottom-posting is nothing but lefty hogwash disguised as
watered-down New Age Eastern Mysticism, socialism, and amoral computing.
Microsoft's Outlook Express, the standard in secure easy-to-use news and
mail programs, defaults to top posting. We should follow their lead as
they have been shown to be best-of-breed for years. They are also strong
capitalists, unlike the so-called "free source" advocates who make up the
majority of bottom posters. Bottom-posting comes from the same Marxist
philosophy that befuddled the drug-addled 1960s boomer generation and,
along with "acid rock," promoted a slackard and sluggard mindset in young
people. If there was no need for an absolute frame of reference, there was
no need for morals. As a result, the slogan "if it feels good do it"
became the guiding principle of these same people who also brought us
rampant homosex, AIDS, abortion, fluoridation, and - bottom-posting.
