I think the whole idea behind a camera strap like this is not to make
it impossible to steal your camera. It has quick release snaps, after
all. The idea is to make it impossible to steal your camera without
taking some time to fiddle with it. Wrap the strap around an armrest at
an airport, for example, and no one can just snatch the camera and run
off with it. Neither are they going to slash the strap. It buys you a
few seconds time and encourages thieves to seek easier targets.

I ordered one a few weeks ago. They have been back ordered but I should
get mine in a couple days. I will let you all know if it is a decent
camera strap. They also make a shoulder strap for computer bags and the
like called the CarrySafe 200.

I liked the CarrySafe not just because of the anti-theft protection but
because it also seems like a nice, long neck strap with good padding
and very well built, plus it does not cost an arm and a leg. I ordered
mine from Campmore.
