Hey Mopar guy.

I am responding to several of your postings.

The auto companies have relatively few products, each of
which is worth hundreds of millions in annual revenue.
And, these products have a relatively long product life
cycle. E.g. a Toyota dealer told me recently that the
_body_ is changed only every five years.

Relatively few products? You are so rediculously ignorant of
today's /world/ auto industry I hesitate to even comment.
Chrysler will launch 8 major, all-new vehicles this calendar
year, and we are the smallest of the Big Three. Ford will
almist double that and GM will nearly triple it. Toyota alone
will launch some 20+ /all-new/ vehicles, and refresh about
half of the older designs. /Each/ of these launches has an
investment cost of as little as "only" $1.5-2B, while some
reach into the $5-8B.

No need to make it look like each one costs this much.
With "flex production" and using the same basic body,
new cars are not that expensive to produce. Only groud up new
vehicles cost this much. What amazes me is that Chrysler apparently
only has one copy of it's Challenger concept vehicle, which is STUPID
because it means they can't show it at every major auto show since
some are coincident.
