Mains adapter for KM Z5

I've just bought a KM Z5. The recommended mains adaptor is the KM AC11,
which costs around 40UKP.

I already have a mains adapter for a Sony Mini Disc recorder which fits the
camera. The specifications on the plug are:

6V
Input: AC100-240V
Output: DC6v 800mA

A small diagram on the plug shows it is centre positive.

Can anyone advise whether this is suitable for the camera?

TIA
