I bought myself a Canon Powershot A410 (3.2X Optical Zoom, 3.2X Digital
Zoom, dimensions 4.1 x 2.0 x 1.6 in.). I've been very happy with it. It
runs on two AA batteries, and I bought some of the 2500 ma NIMH
rechargeables, which so far give me a whole lot of pix on a charge. You
will get far more pix on an NIMH battery than regular store-bought
variety on this camera, in my experience, but I do recommend getting the
2500 ma's. Below is a review with a lot of info, and a link for the best
