No, here *you* went.

You certainly did. I probably still have your post where you said
that you'd KF me if I maintained my position. I did and then you
did what you threatened to do. Would you prefer me to say
"promised" instead of "threatened"?

I can't argue with that. Anything you decide to do must make
sense to *you*. Whether it made sense to others is arguable.

I never complained about your KF'ing me and it didn't bother me at
all. I even continued replying to your messages as ever, politely
agreeing with some, disagreeing with others (still politely). If
you've gotten over it, fine, but it still seems that for you, it
hasn't blown over. Even in this thread, look at how the replies
have gone. My first to you was nothing but a sincere attempt to
answer your question. Nothing tricky, barbed or inscrutable. Your
reply, naively/stupidly mentioning a kill-file (do you really think
bots go in for that sort of thing?) was not. I don't think anyone
would think that you sincerely thought that you believed a KF was
responsible. And if it was, why would it have been canceled? No,
you jumped at a chance to dredge up old history that YOU apparently
don't want to forget. If you recall, the reason for you deciding
can the KF was probably not because anything blew over, but you were
noticing echoes ("ghosts", you called them) of my replies in other
people's messages, and probably thought it wiser to avoid missing my
replies to your messages. I don't consider this message to be one
that "tells you off", just one that corrects some of your
misperceptions. If you really hope that it (whatever "that" is) is
over and done, then simply make it so. And don't think that what I
called a "less than 100% compliment" ("stubborn", "not stupid") was
a subtle insult or attack of some type. Practically everyone in
this ng is stubborn to some degree, me included. But not everyone
here is "not stupid", and I don't think you'd object to that part of
what I said because only someone really, really stupid would! <g>
