I have an Epson P-2000 too and I find it quite lacking in this respect. Also
that you can't nest folders within each other is annoying. I use it mainly
to store my pictures on trips until I return back home, so I don't have to
bring my laptop. I have been waiting for a firmware update to make it more
user friendly in these aspects, but I think I will wait forever on that.

Otherwise a great device.
