Need a laptop recommendation

Hi,
I'm looking for a new laptop for digital photography
and am looking for suggestions.  Here is what I want:

To fit in a LowePro Computrekker AW backpack, the computer
must be smaller than about 10.75 x 13 x 1.5 inches.

Largest hard drive possible (minimum 80 GBytes, 120 preferable).
up to 2 GBytes ram.
XP pro (please no mac/linux/unix flames; I am a unix/linux user,
        and I will make the laptop dual xp/linux boot).
10/100 ethernet RJ45.
wireless ethernet.
usb 2 (very fast or whatever they call it)
firewire.
cd/dvd read/write (dvd+/- writer).
Very light a plus (will pay more for lightweight).
Best quality build for rugged field operations.
Screen size: any that fits in the above space.
Thanks for any guidelines on what to look at; price is open.
