That's an easy one - Pick up a D50 and hold it in your hand, or look at it's menus in bright light. Now do the same with the 350D. The 'feel' of the D50 is way better than the 350D.

This is true. That's why you should pick the camera that has the best ergonomics and feel.
Which is completely subjective and not worth getting into on a newsgroup.
Thanks for your opinion, but that is exactly the kind of thing to 'get into' in a newsgroup.
Or were your comments some sort of joke? Too subtle for me I guess.
