I like Picasa2 for family and fun Photo editing. Fast and lots of
options. Free from download.google.com.

It keeps all of your originals as "digital negatives" and databases
your changes. This effectively means that you can edit your photos
without making copies upon copies. Really saves drive space. You can
export and entire folder using the original or a smaller image size
with the edits applied in under a minute.

If you don't like it of course, It was free!! Un-install baby. I think
you will like it though for personal use. It also lets you easily
backup and restore photosets (with the edits d-base separated but
intact) and has options to e-mail, Blogger and more. Great little
program. Hope Google never charges for anything. :)
