Eneloop? Not in Oceana. Not according to Nikon either. What do you do,
import them?
From Nikon: "Improved booster circuit for high-speed recycle time: Recycle
time using four AA-size batteries is *almost* equal to the SB-800 with five
AA-size batteries"
The real test of this crap from Nikon is when you load up with "Ultimate
Lithium" AA's. Instant recycle - for about 20 shots! Then nothing until the
flash and batteries cool enough to hold in your hand.
Sorry mate but you were the idiot I listened to
And you evidently still can learn a lot from even idiots, even
those that secure their bonnets with thongs. Did Nikon says that
Eneloops aren't to be found in Oceana or that they shouldn't be
used? I hope not the latter, since they get especially good marks
in their manuals. If you ever looked at one you'd see that lithium
batteries have the longest recycle times of all, even worse than
alkaline batteries. Sorry mate, but once an idiot always an idiot.
If you're going to give advise mate, make sure you know what you're talking
about before you start. The SB900 has problems keeping up with a SB800 and
doesn't seem to be any improvement in it's lighting ability in the field.
Wrong again, and all because you won't heed your own advice. Mate.
