The sensor is destined for the Nikon D3X and a high end Sony model.
It is unlikely to find its way into a Pentax DSLR as almost all
current Pentax lenses are designed for the DA (APS-C) format sensor.
They have just managed to put a 14.2 megapixel sensor into a £499
camera. The premium over 10.2 megapixels is only £100 (also only $100
apparently).
But that's not full frame.
Exactly .. and it isn't 24.5 MP with a lot of new technology either.
