Ah, yes. Sort of like how the Olympus DSLRs have xD slots in addition to
CompactFlash.
I *loathe* xD cards... they are incredibly slow and cost about 3X as much
as SD, with much less selection. One of the biggest reasons I don't
recommend Olympus P&S cameras to friends anymore, despite having enjoyed
my own C-740 UZ for a while.
Same here. Olympus and Fuji have both made some fine cameras, but that
stupid xD card is reason enough to not even consider buying one. Why they
made such a dumb move at a time when the SD card was already becoming the
standard for cameras and all sorts of other devices taking small memory
cards -- is simply unfathomable.
