hi,

I need to purchase a few accessories for my Nikon D80 before I travel
abroad Dec 20, but I can't find them anywhere, apart from Nikon's website,
but you can't buy them on their website, these are the accessories I need:

semi-soft case:
http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=258&productNr=25344

remote control:
http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?productNr=4730&cat=1&grp=56

remote cable:
http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=258&productNr=25326
(just realized they have a lot of remote cables
(http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=2&productNr=25432) don't
know what difference is between them.. I just need it for taking photos
from a distance, self-portraits and stuff..

I also need a flash, I don't like the built-in flash, the shadows that
form when you shoot someone in front of a wall, etc.. I would like one
like the old Vivitar I had for years, which you "pivot" on a kind of
hinge, and can either point the flash to the ceiling or directly ahead of
you, or anywhere in between.. would like the smallest lightest, most
compact..;)

I also need an AC adapter..
(some of these accessories are pictured in the manual (pg 116), it says
"AC adapterS" -- they have more than one, so how to choose? too many
choices in life sometimes...;)

I don't know where to purchase these, can't find them anywhere except
Nikon's website, but you can't purchase them there..

thank you..

I don´t understand why you want a remote cord AND a rc? I´ll give you a
golden tip:

Go to any electric appliance store that sells tv etc. and look for a
all-in-one RC. Look at the compatible brands and make sure it also handles
RCA. Put your camera in RC mode and let the RC search for the right channel,
likely you have to push the on/off button multiple times.
When ite camera fires, that´s your channel, stop it from searching.
Look at the manual how to do this; it's very easy.
You´re all set.
I´ve got two different ones. A small one for take with me and a bigger one
that is so strong, it even works from all sides, even from the back(!!!) so
I don´t need anything else, like a cord. It works at least up to 30 feet,
maybe more.
With two second delay, I can now position myself in the family picture, take
mt time to put on a great smile (LOL) and still have time to fire and put
the remote down, so it doesn´t show in the picture. Fantastic! And all this
fun will cost less than the original one.
