Just as there are people who see a bottle and say it is half full, others see it as half empty.
In this NG it seems that there are people Pro Olympus cameras and others who are anti Olympus, or any other brand of camera or subject for that matter.
I am all for having a good and interesting discussion, about the merits or otherwise of a particular subject or item. What I do wonder about, is why some on this NG, seem intent on getting personal and abusive with people who have a different opinion? It would seem to me, that even if a person felt strong disagreement with an opinion it could either be argued rationally, or just ignored. Rather than to waste ones time, getting upset and degenerating ones response to the lowest common denominator.
My interests are many and varied and I joined this NG because I am in a transition from film cameras to DSLR. It is just so obvious that other NG's I subscribe to, don't have the extent of abuse and personal attacks on members. I wonder why it happens here?
