Because of the enormous investment in the lenses that they have already made.
Who am I to judge though, I will be sticking with the D200 for a few years if
all goes according to plan.
I am sure that is what you would like to believe. However, I can tell
you for sure that Nikon will soon have at least one model within its
DSLR range that will have a 1.1X sensor.
Of that, I am absolutely certain.
It is probably not what you want to hear. For that, I apologise.
