The attitude of a dickhead over the attitude of one who wants a specific
and appropriate tool for a job. They may (or may not) be resposnsible
for the mailing lists.
Canon is responsible for the activities taken under their name. I used
the "unsubscribe" address on their mailings to no effect. You do the
math. I eventually gave up and wrote a filter to simply bounce
anything from them back to them with an informative error message.
Spammers are scum and I don't deal with scum.
I cannot make any comments about how well those cameras actually
perform as I've never used them, and were never under consideration by
me for the above stated reasons.
So shut up.
OP wanted opinions, so I provided mine. If you can't deal with that,
YOU shut up. And in case you didn't notice, I also gave my opinion
about the specified Nikon.
