Lens Suggestion

I have a Canon Rebel xt with 50mm f/1.8 & 200mm f/2.8 lenses. After a trip
to the Supercross races last night, I found that the 200mm is a bit too long
for that type of event. Any suggestions on a zoom to compliment what I
already have? TIA
