He's just tired of reading about the lens QC issues his favorite brand
has. If his favorite brand has a weakness (lens quality) then he has to
pretend it doesn't matter!
Up to your usual biased bs again Stacey. Put your money where your mouth
is. If "you think" the Canon lenses are so poor,
Interesting that canon users are the ones talking about needing to try
3-4 samples of a certain lens to get a decent one?
then post some of your fantastic photographic images showing me this
great quality you are getting with your camera
No problem.. Shot these last weekend, hand held in poor light.

What annoys me in this NG is the childish "my camera is better than
yours" mentality.
?? I find it comical this guys makes a rant saying the issues his brand
has are meaningless but of course it's strong point it what all cameras
should be measured by!
If you prefer Nikon, use Nikon; if you prefer Canon,
use Canon. Why rubbish anything that is not YOUR preferred brand. The
sales figures for the professional market speaks for itself!
So this 'sales figure' herring isn't to try to make your brand better,
like you just complained about being a childish activity? :-)
nice :-)
Well you did take the first swing... And thanks for "backing down", I
assumed you were just another rabid canon owner? :-)
Just answering your last sentence above: No, that was not what
I was saying at all. I am not trying to say Canons are the best (even
though they are usually my favourite, depending on the model). I am
saying the sales figures basically confirm that what you are saying is
not correct.
High sales can easily be more about marketing that product quality. I rarely
base my purchases on now many others have bought. By that logic a geo metro
is a better car than 500SEL benz!
