What annoys me in this NG is the childish "my camera is better than
yours" mentality.


?? I find it comical this guys makes a rant saying the issues his brand has
are meaningless but of course it's strong point it what all cameras should
be measured by!


If you prefer Nikon, use Nikon; if you prefer Canon, use Canon. Why rubbish anything that is not YOUR preferred brand. The
sales figures for the professional market speaks for itself!


So this 'sales figure' herring isn't to try to make your brand better, like
you just complained about being a childish activity? :-)

Damn, I gave you a nice response to this post and now this one is not as nice :-) Just answering your last sentence above: No, that was not what I was saying at all. I am not trying to say Canons are the best (even though they are usually my favourite, depending on the model). I am saying the sales figures basically confirm that what you are saying is not correct. That is all I was saying.

Anyway, you have made your point about Olympus lenses and backed it up nicely. I appreciated that very much :-)
